Man hacks friend to death for allegedly making him impotent

A young man in Nasarawa State has been arrested for hacking his friend to death for allegedly making him impotent.

The suspect, Kumi Mallam Jayi and the victim

Daily Sun reports that the 20-year-old Jayi, a resident of Jato Mariga under Azara Development Area of the state, also cut off one of the 27-year-old Adamu's leg and was in the process of dismembering him when some people saw him and raised an alarm.

Briefing newsmen on the gory incident, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Abubakar Sadiq Bello, said the suspect had sought Adamu's advice over his inability to have sexual intercourse with his wife and the deceased suggested some local herbs.

But instead of the herb to work wonders, it rather rendered him impotent and when he confronted Adamu to return his manhood to its former state, a fight occurred between them leading to the murder.

When he was paraded at the headquarters of the police command, Jayi narrated what transpired causing him to murder his friend.

“I got married to my wife Halima three years ago. We do not have any child. I have tried in many places to get a solution to the problem without success.

Then I told my friend, Hassan Adamu, my predicament and he promised to assist me. He brought a native concoction, which he said I should always rub on my manhood before having intercourse with my wife.

I used the drug like he prescribed but instead of it to work, it made my manhood not to even get erect again, unlike before.

I met Adamu and begged him to return my manhood because I had become impotent. I could not make love with my wife again."

"Adamu told me that there was nothing he could do again to help me. Do you know that my wife had divorced me three times in the past?”

CP Bello concluded that the suspect would soon be charged to court at the end of investigations.
