A man identified as Olufemi Julius, of Akure, was apprehended by he State Police Command after he was found with a rifle and under the influence of a popular syrup, codeine.
Intoxicated man arrested with rifle in market
According to reports, by the time he was arrested, he had no idea where he got the rifle.
The suspect who was arrested at a popular mobile market, at Olukayode Shopping Complex, Akure, was reported, according to witnesses as saying he wanted to kill someone.
But by the time he was apprehended, not only did he not know where he got the rifle, he had no idea who he wanted to kill.

There were no casualties before or after the arrest.
