Despite a huge anticipation by the Jimmy Kimmel Live fans to sit with the U.S President, Barack Obama reportedly pulled the plug on the planned talk show appearance on Wednesday because he felt it was unwise to be in a comedy show when there are pressing political issues to take care of.
Barack Obama Cancels Talk Show Appearance To Deal With Political Issues
White House correspondent claims the US president was never billed to appear on the show despite rumors of him to show up.
White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest admits the President was truly in talks to do the show with the Emmy Award winner Jimmy Kimmel but canceled last minute to deal with "more serious matters."
However, Kimmel's show publicist insists the story is all wrong. She claims there was never any plans for Obama to appear on the show.
Funny enough, Josh Earnest also claim the President was committed on attending the show as of Sunday but according to LAPD sources, they were told Obama's trip to the El Capitan – where the show shoots – was canceled late Tuesday.

So, Obama couldn't make it, so what's the deal? Dude had 'presidential' issues to deal with. He will be there next time. At least we all know, on a good day, Obama would be on every TV show there is just to pass on one of those his messages!
