13-yr-old girl pens touching suicide note to family after dad rapes her

In a heartbreaking development, news reports have revealed that a 13-yr-old Chinese girl has committed suicide in a bid to escape further sexual assault at the hands of her father.

The late Xiaoguo is reported to have left a heart breaking suicide note which she addressed to her family, following her death by suicide.

According to reports, the motes were words of encouragement, urging her family to hang on to hope in the face of her suicide, after which she reportedly jumped off the roof of the building she had lived in with her aunt.

Daily Record reports that 15-yr-old Xiaoguo, had before her death, lived with an aunt in Changzi County, North Shanxi Province, following her parents divorce.

Xiaoguo's aunt, simply identified as Lv, is reported to have revealed that her father came around the house frequently, asking to take his daughter back home with him for "a few day."

Speaking on the circumstances surrounding the death of her niece, she said:

”Xiaoguo left with him, but reportedly returned to her aunt "acting strangely" and had no appetite."

Following a lot of prodding by Lv, after noticing her strange behaviour since returning from her visit with her father, Xiaoguo finally opened up to her aunt that her father had sexually assaulted her, raping her twice.

Lv reportedly called the police following the revelation, and Xiaoguo's father was immediately arrested.

Unfortunately, a few days following her father's arrest, a traumatised and distraught Xiaoguo reportedly jumped off the 36 storey high-rise residential building, leaving behind a number of suicide notes.

Xiaoguo writing in one of her suicide notes, said:

“Many things require no explanation. I didn’t want to tell you these secrets because I was afraid you’d lose hope and want to give up on me. I’m sure you will be disappointed, but I hope you will not despair. Please burn my body and let my ashes be washed away by the sea.

"I've always hated lying; it's a shameful act. Even white lies are sometimes unforgivable. I should not have existed in this world; I have no right to say or do anything. Thank you. Sorry.

"Death is just another beginning; I chose to forget because it pains me (this is a mistake).

"Thank you. Sorry. Guilt. Regret."

Xiaoguo’s father is reportedly being held by the police following the rape and molestation charges of a minor, while he awaits trial.
