The deadly flood and fire disaster that claimed the lives of more than a 150 people in, Accra, Ghana, will be remembered for years to come by a Nigerian family after it emerged that their daughter, Adaku Abel, was one of the victims.
Ghana disaster claims female Nigerian student
A young Nigerian student in a school in Accra, Ghana, was one of those who died in a fire disaster that claimed many lives in that country.
The pretty lady who a 200 level Business Administration student at the Accra Institute of Technology, was declared missing after the disaster which has been described as one of the worst in that country.
Not knowing that she was among the dead, her friends and fellow students posted her photos on social media platforms asking people to help look for her only to discover her body amongst the several corpses that littered the 37 Military Hospital, Accra.
It turned out that she was one of those that were burnt to death at the Goil Filling Station fire that came when many took refuge from the ravaging floods.
May her soil rest in peace.
