Orphan girl, Uzoamaka Chukwu adopted ... Gets full scholarship
God has a way of smiling on people as the orphan girl who was tortured and brutalised because she refused to sleep with certain men has now been adopted while her traducers have been taken into custody.
Apart from finding a new and comfortable home, the Junior Secondary School Two (JSS2) student has been given a full scholarship up to the university level, while the men who tortured her and posted the vile video on social media, are now in prison.

Hon. Linus Abaa Okorie, the lawmaker representing Onicha, Ohaozara and Ivo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, had vowed to do anything possible to bring justice for the poor girl. Things seem to look bright for the girl now, as she is now fully settled in her new home under the tutelage of her adopters .
"Uzoamaka is now a bona fide member of the peaceful and blessed home of Ms Rita Nnenna Anoh who recently emerged The Most Celebrated Female Personality of the Year at the 2016 Nigeria Role Models Award held in Lagos.
One can only imagine the joy and overwhelming satisfaction of Uzoamaka as she moved into the palatial home of the Anohs.
In order to ensure a complete switch from the pains of her past and prepare her for her new life, Uzoamaka was taken on an expansive shopping spree, registered for medical assessment and psychotherapy, while efforts are on to register her in a decent school ahead of the commencement of the new academic session.

It has indeed been an unending dream for her and her elder sister who was on hand, to witness this magical transformation."
"I invite all men and women of goodwill to join me in extending profound thanks and gratitude to Uzoamaka's new mum, Rita Anoh, for her tremendous show of love to an otherwise destitute orphan."
