Polytechnic graduate, three others arrested for car theft

Mr. Christopher Gwojor, a Delta State Polytechnic graduate, and three other youths have been apprehended by the officers of the Nigerian Police in Warri for allegedly stealing a Toyota Highlander SUV.

 

Mr. Christopher Gwojor, a Delta State Polytechnic graduate, and three other youths have been apprehended by the officers of the Nigerian Police in Warri for allegedly stealing a Toyota Highlander Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The Delta State Police PRO, Celestina Kalu, said the four young men were apprehended by a stop and search team at PTI Junction, Effurun, and later discovered that they were indeed driving a stolen car.

The other three are Anthony Idohor, 21; Eteh Moses, 25 and Onoriode Agbayikele, 26.

Kalu said the suspects confessed to have broken into a house at Okuokoko and stolen the SUV and other valuables.

She said items recovered from them asides the SUV with number plate KWL 576 KA, were 11 telephone handsets, three ATM cards, one battle axe; two masks and two toy guns.

Investigations are still ongoing.
