It was tears, sorrow and gnashing of teeth when the body of 37-year-old Nanmwa Bongdul, who was murdered when some Fulani herdsmen attacked the Kwata community in Zawan, Jos, the capital of Plateau State, was laid to rest in his home town of Nban, Langtang North Local Government Area of the state.

This young man was murdered by mindless Fulani herdsmen who attacked his community and killed many.
The whole town was thrown into tears as his body was being committed to mother earth as many paid tributes to the lively young man who was cut down in his prime.
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Bongdul who was fondly called Bongs, was killed on October 8, when the mindless attackers raided the community at night, shooting sporadically into the air and burning houses.
He was buried on Wednesday, October 14.
