After a night rest, the body needs fluid and water remains the healthiest. Dehydration is as bad for you as it is for your skin; it makes you feel weak and dries out your skin which eventually ages it. Starting your day with a glass of water will do you, your body and skin a great deal.
Eat some protein.
Eat some fruits, take plain yoghurt or include eggs in your breakfast. A study revealed that eating breakfast high in protein helps women stay fuller for a long time which makes them avoid overeating later on in the day!

If you need to jumpstart your body for the day, green tea is perfect instead of caffeine. The drink is packed with antioxidants said to reduce the risk of certain types of cancer and slow down cell damage. A cup of green tea helps to start your day just right .
We need sun protection everyday, it is important even when it doesn’t appear sunny and most times the SPF in the make-up is never enough. You need at least an SPF 30. Instead, use a moisturizer that has a high SPF, don’t forget the back of your hands, neck, lips also as they are all exposed to UV rays which could age them as much as the face.
Choose a fragrance with citrus.
Studies have shown that citrus flavoured fragrances reduce stress and uplift the mood; even helps boost the immune function. Spray on a citrus flavoured perfume just before you leave the house, it will definitely start up your day
Always have a bottle of facial mist handy especially in the mornings, spray on your face to give you a refreshed and alive feel. The mist reduces morning puffiness and leaves you widely awake, brighter and definitely refreshed
