'I ran away from home to become a prostitute' - 16-yr-old girl (Video)
After being forced to marry an older man at 14, this teenager decided to run away from home and become a prostitute.
The teenage commercial sex worker who is now a mother, spoke to OAK TV on how her parent's insistence on her marrying the older man made her abandon home and fled to the notorious Bayan Gari, a slum in Bauchi metropolis tucked behind the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, notorious for prostitution, cheap sex, alcohol, and miscreants.
The teenager revealed to the interviewer how she started the profession two years ago and she had a baby for one of her customers in the process.

I am 16-years-old.
I started this profession two years ago.
I started this because I was being forced into a marriage I had no interest in.

No, I am not educated.
I left home because it wasn't in my interest to get married to that man.
Yes. I observe the five times daily prayers. And I fast too.
During the fasting period, I go back to my family house and join them in the fast. I just returned from my family house yesterday.
No, I don't, until I get back here.
I have sex with three men in a day.
Short time is N500, while all-night is N5,000."
