Motorcyclist arraigned in court for stealing eggrolls

According to the prosecutor, the offence contravenes Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The motorcyclist was granted bail in the sum of N20,000 until the case resumes.

The offence was committed on July 23, 2016, according to the prosecuting officer, Inspector Innocent Uko.

Addressing the court, Uko stated that the offence contravenes Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

A bail of N20,000 was granted to the accused, with a surety in like sum, by Mr Abiodun Etii, the court magistrate.

The case is expected to resume on August 30, 2016.
