Female GO in prison for defrauding church members of N2M
A female General Overseer of a church in Lagos has been remanded in prison custody for defrauding her members and cursing them.
PM Express reports that apart from defrauding the victims, Rev. Ngozi also threatened to lay a potent curse on them if they dared asked her for the money.

The police report that the Clergy who hails from Imo State had allegedly collected the sum of N1 million each from the two members, Mrs. Temitope Kadri and Dr. (Mrs.) Olanrewaju Ishaq under the false pretense of putting it in a five-year deposit scheme with an interest of N100,000 every month.
The victims, it was gathered, gave Rev. Ngozi the money since last year and were expecting the returns but however, while waiting, they realized that the whole investment was a scam and when they asked for their money, the woman of God started threatening to place a curse on them to scare them.
The matter was reported to the police at Idimu Division who arrested the suspect and charged her to court with fraud under the Criminal Code.
She was arraigned at the Ejigbo Magistrate Court on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, and when the charge was read to her, she pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. J.O.E Adeyemi, granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum while ordering that she should be remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail.
