Fame And Service: FRSC Induct Celebrity Special Marshals

Now this goes out to the bad guys on the road:

Silver Jubilee celebrations really got the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) waxing creative. As part of the agency’s activities to usher in a new phase of life-saving operations, it organized a public lecture and induction of celebrity special marshals last Friday.

Seyi Law, Oge Okoye, Chico Ejiro, Teju Babyface and Jaywon among others, are the new ensigns of the FRSC.

The event occurred at the  A2W Center, Ikeja Lagos, on Friday March 8, 2013. With a huge turnout of celebrities, media personnel, and FRSC top guns, Managing Director of THIS DAY newspaper got the event running with a lecture delivery. Sini Titsi Kwabe, FRSC National Coordinator of Special Marshals, gave the next specch.

Keynote speech duties was was executed by the Zonal Commander, Ademola Lawal, and FRSC Corp Marshal Osita Chidoka gave the new inductees, urging them to be exemplars in a world ridden with traffic anarchy.

The swearing-in ceremony was carried out to the delight of all present. On conclusion, ace broadcaster gave a speech of appreciation and expressed the willingness to save lives as a key feature in their decision to join the agency.

‘On behalf of my fellow inductees, we would like to say a very big thank you for accepting  us to become part of a family that is determined to reduce accidents on our roads and save lives’.

Training for the newly inducted celebrity special marshals is slated for March 21, 2013.
