The play is set in present day Lagos. A time and place where the hustle never stops and survival is the pulse of the city.

Love is a verb

Angel is a strong young woman hustling to make ends meet, finding comfort and taking love in all the ways and places she knows how. She meets Kunle, a simple guy who defies her every suspicious expectation. The two embark on different but converging journies of unlearning and relearning what it really means to love and to be loved.

Love is a Verb features Lala Akindoju as ‘Angel’ and Seun Ajayi as ‘Kunle’. The event will also feature musical performances and poetry. Other details are as follows:
