Actor Tries his Hands In Politics

Veteran actor Ejike Methuselah has joined politics and is eyeing a seat in the House of Representatives under the PDP.

Another Nollywood actor, Ejike Methuselah, has joined some of his colleagues who are taking their popularity from the movie industry to the murky waters of politics. The veteran actor has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party to represent the people of Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency of Lagos State.

The producer believes he has what it takes to give adequate representation to the people of the constituency and is hoping his popularity would stand him in a better position to defeat all comers to the House.

This is the third time Methuselah would be contesting and believes that the fact that he is of Igbo stock from Umuoji in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, does not stop him from winning an election in Lagos which he believes is a no man's land.

Methuselah who acted in some of the pioneers movies like Rattle Snake, Up to Rush, Farewell to Babylon and The Night Fall, joins the likes of actors Kenneth Okonkwo, Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Kate Henshaw, Desmond Elliot, Julius Agwu, Tony One-Week, Funke Adesiyan and singers 9ice, Kenny Saint Best, Muma Gee and Tony Tetuila amonsgt others in testing the waters of politics in Nigeria.
