Man forces young sons to drink poison after serious quarrel with wife

A man in Kenya who had a quarrel with his wife, took it out on his kids by forcing them to drink poison before also killing himself.

The man left the people of his Macheke village shocked after he reportedly forced his two sons, Elton 7, and Stallion, 12, to drink termite poison before drinking the remainder of the poison himself in an apparent triple suicide, at his residence at Plot 4, Village 12 in Wenimbe, Macheke.

The three were pronounced dead on arrival at Marondera Hospital.

According to reports, Tambanda had a domestic dispute with his wife and after a heated verbal exchange, it is reported that Tambanda’s wife left the homestead to an unknown destination but before she got back, Tambanda had forced his sons to drink the poisonous substance before drinking it himself.

After the heinous act, Tambanda went to his brother’s home to tell him what he had done and it was the brother that the trio to Marondera Hospital where they were confirmed dead.
