"Cookie jar started as a dream"

Who said dreams don't come true? For Chef Eros, they've not only come true, they've also morphed into a thriving business.

Imagine having continuous dreams about cookies; bright, colourful dreams that seem more like visions than dreams. That was precisely the case with Cookiejar boss, Tolu Erogbogbo aka Chef Eros.

In an exclusive chat with Pulse, the Cookiejar boss narrated how his now-thriving business actually started out as a dream - literarily.

According to him:

Cookiejar started in 2012 as a dream. I had several dreams about chocolates and my sister would always call them cookies in the dream. I would see a place that looked like a dessert station and although I held the cookies, I never got to taste them in my dream because my sister would always come and take them from me.

During the Occupy Nigeria protest which left many Lagosians stranded at home, Chef Eros decided to do some baking to ease his boredom after his mother advised him to do so following his numerous dreams about cookies.

Just like that, Cookiejar was born. Today it stands as one of the leading dessert stores.

Moral of the story, never ignore those dreams, they just might be the key to your success.
