Mexican model nabbed with $134,000 worth of cocaine

A top model thought she could deceive the police by flirting with them when she tried to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine with her

Anett Pikula

Top Mexican model and one of the best in the world, Anett Pikula, has set a new world record: negatively, that is, as the 39-year-old was caught by Federal Border Patrol Officers while trying to smuggle cocaine worth a whopping $134,000, into the United States of America.

Pikula who is also an American citizen, was driving into the country through the Arizona border, in her state of the art customised Mercedes Benz car and when she was stopped for routine checks, she drew suspicion in the minds of the officers when she began flirting with them extensively, hoping to throw the cops off her scent.

Not taken by her flirting, the alert officers introduced a sniffing dog which discovered the drug hidden in a secret compartment in the car engine's firewall.

She was promptly arrested and taken to the office of the Narcotics Agency.
