"I was driving along the Eket-Ibeno road when the police officers stopped me. They asked for my car particulars which I handed over to one of them. After checking the particulars and realising that all the particulars were intact, the officer told me: 'you suppose know what to do nah!'

When I insisted that he should return my car particulars, the officer out of annoyance butted my head with the butt of his gun. When he saw the blood gushing out of my head, the officers jumped into their patrol vehicle and drove away."

"I did not do anything wrong to them, so I do not understand why they should molest me because I refused to give them a bribe."
