Born Peter and Paul Okoye on the 18 of November 1981 are Nigerian artists, performers. They were born to a family with 2 other siblings, Jude; their manager and a younger sister’ Mary Okoye. They attended St. Murumba secondary school in JOs where they joined their school drama and music club. The twins who loved to dance to Michael Jackson and MC Hammer went on to form a singing band called MMMMP. They went on to form another band which was a dance band called Smooth Criminals in 1997.

The twins attended University of Abuja to attain a degree in Business Administration and the band, smooth criminals split to their different universities. Before settling on the name P-square they were called Double P, P&P and Da Pees. Peter is the better singer and Paul (the one with the dreads) the dancer

In 2001, the P-Square twins won the "Grab Da Mic" competition, and got Benson & Hedges to sponsor their debut album, titled Last Nite. Their sophomore album Get Squared, released in 2005 is what actually got them recognized in the Nigerian music industry.

Best known for: The twins who are double the entertainment and sell out in all their shows are signed to Akon’s Konvict Music, American rapper Rick Ross featured on one of their music videos, Beautiful Oyinye. Between June and July, 2010, P-Square embarked on a successful tour of seven cities in the United States of America. They are presently touring Africa as well which began in 2013. Globacom gave the twins a record-breaking ambassadorial deal which is very much deserved. The twin music stars of Peter and Paul Okoye recently launched an animated family TV series called 'The Alingo’ in Lagos which is targeted at children.

P-Square have been influential on the Nigerian music scene for more than a decade and have released five full albums, including 'Last Nite’, ‘Get Square’, ‘Game Over’, ‘Danger’ and ‘The Invasion’. Their captivating music, international collaborations and energetic dance moves have gotten them awards such as BET Awards, MOBO Awards, Kora Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, Hip Hop World Awards and the Channel O Music Awards

Personal life of P- Square

Peter got married to his girlfriend Lola Omotayo in November 2013; they have a son together; Cameron and daughter Aliona.

Paul wed his girlfriend and baby mama Anita Isama on the 22 of March 2014; the pair have a son together, Andre Okoye. However this is not Paul’s only baby mama, there is also Elshama Igbanoi who had a son for him last year.
