25-year-old man rapes neighbour’s 8-year-old daughter in Bauchi

A 25-year-old man who raped a minor is now in hot waters.

A 25-year-old man, Auwalu Abdullahi, has been arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command on allegation of raping an 8-year-old daughter of his neighbour.

The suspect who hails from Tilden Fulani in Toro local government area of the state, was arrested by police detectives from Toro Division.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Haruna Mohammed, reports that the suspect was arrested on 4 January, 2015.

The statement reads:

"On January 4, at 3p.m., detectives attached to Toro Division arrested one Auwalu Abdullahi, aged 25, of Tilden Fulani in Toro council.

The suspect lured an eight years old girl, the daughter of his neighbour, into an uncompleted building and her.

Scene of crime was visited and the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical examination where penetration was confirmed."
