Jailbird back to prison for selling 'Igbo'
A notorious drug dealer has been sent to prison few weeks after he was released for the same crime.
Like a dog going back to his vomit, Isah has been sentenced for the same crime by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State, by no nonsense Justice Okon Abang.
Isah was arrested for illegally trading in 3.9 kilogrammes of Indian hemp and he was jailed after he pleaded guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor, Jeremiah Aernan, an officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), had presented facts of the case before the court, telling the court that Isah committed the offence at his residence on Atubaje Street, Agege.
Aernan said the convict was caught by a team of NDLEA officers when he was unlawfully dealing in the 3.9 kilogrammes of India hemp.
He, therefore, tendered in evidence, the certificate of test analysis, bulk of the hard drug weighing 3.9 kilogrammes, report of test analysis, certificate of drug analysis and the convict's confessional statement.
