Comedian says GEJ surrounds himself with people who mess him up

Top comedian Ali Baba believes that those surrounding President Jonathan are messing up his chances of re-election.

In the light of divergent voices coming out of the camp of President Goodluck Jonathan leading up to the presidential election on 14 February, 2015, veteran comedian and one of the GEJ's staunch supporters, Ali Baba, believes that people like the Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose and former Aviation Minister and now campaign director for the president, Femi Fani-Kayode, have all conspired to mess up the president.

Ali Baba's reaction came on the back of Governor Fayose's front cover advertorial in the Punch Newspaper where he said that the candidate of the opposition All Progressive Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari would die in power if voted in while Fani-Kayode challenged Buhari for a jogging contest.

he took to his Twitter handle to post his views thus:

"The sad part is, they will do things that will put GEJ in bad light, and begin to call people who raise issues based on the nonsense they have done as people who are not loyal! Ok, what is the import of that advert?

Front page cover advert goes for About N20m and you can see to what extent some will go to mess up the chances of GEJ's incumbency. These are the same people who will advise MR President ABI!?"
