Singer says Pidgin English should be taught in schools

2face Idibia wants Pidgin English to taught in school and also be used to teach students for easier understanding.

2face Idibia is famous for his preference for Pidgin English and now he wants the language to be taught in schools.

The “Let Me Love You” singer suggested that Pidgin English be introduced in Nigerian schools to aid communication and transfer knowledge to kids in rural areas who use it as their second language.

2baba made this opinion while speaking at the MTV Base #ChooseOrLose Roundtable.

In the video teaser for the programme which would be aired in full on MTV Base, 2face is heard opining that it would be easier for students to understand when being taught with Pidgin English.

“For me, they can gather some linguistic professors and let them package pidgin English properly; let it be official, let them just create it,” 2face says.
