Two lovers who have been terrorizing a community in Edo State have been arrested after they broke into a church to steal.
According to Tori News, the lovers were caught red-handed after they broke into a Pentecostal church located on Ekenwan Road in the early hours of the day and stole musical equipment, speakers, television sets and money from the tithe box.
They were about making away with their loot when a passerby saw them and raised an alarm which brought out residents.
The thieves were immediately apprehended before they could escape and after a thorough beating were handed over to the police.
A resident whose home had been robbed by the thieves, narrated that they were fond of breaking into people's homes and stealing valuable items.
“They broke into my house and stole items like shoes, jewelry, plasma, laptop, iPhone, BlackBerry and clothes went missing in my home.
They were arrested after the same guy and girl broke into at a church around my area.”
