7 mocktails to replace those cocktails with

You actually don't have to feel left out of a group of friends just because you don't want those cocktails when you can easily replace them with these mocktails.

Mocktails are non-alcoholic mixed drinks and traditional cocktails that taste just as good with or without the alcohol and just because mocktails don't contain alcoholic content doesn't make them boring sets of drinks.

Here's a list of mocktails you should consider taking with brunch, lunch or dinner when you feel the need to gulp in a liquid different from the universal solvent, water.

1. Cuddles on the beach

Cuddles on the Beach is a mocktail version of Sex on the Beach, with several suggestions for tweaks. The basic idea for a no-alcohol Sex on the Beach is to remove the vodka and then replace the peach schnapps with peach nectar. Easy-peasy, and it tastes very much like the original.

2. Cherry Coketail

It blends cherry, vanilla and a touch of lime with Coca cola, either regular or diet coke, the choice is yours.

3. Gabbie’s Punch

This mocktail is basically citrus and spice. Whip up orange, pineapple and passion fruit juices.

4.Watermelon Breeze

Combine watermelon. coconut water and lime. Blend till it becomes smooth. Easy, right?

5. Strawberry-Banana Margarita

This is a traditional blended margarita with the addition of actual strawberries and banana. Replace triple sec with some orange juice and add fresh squeezed out lime juice.

6. Piña Colada

The classic recipe is simply one part white rum, one part coconut cream and three parts pineapple juice, and it’s delicious. But in this case, leave out the rum and you're good to go.

7. Mockmosa

Mockmosa is a perfect alternative to the Mimosa. Use sparkling white grape juice instead of sparkling apple cider.

Pour the orange juice into a flute glass and then pour the sparkling white grape juice.
