Ice Cream Float

I recently discovered this US invention that has become popular around the world and I just had to share with you! Settle in from a hectic day at work or host a kiddie’s party with this summer delight. The combination of ice-cream and soda is bound to give you an exhilarating sugar rush. Experiment with different fizzy drinks and ice-cream flavours and share your favourite with me.

Serves: 1

Prep time: 1 minute.

Ingredients

- 2 scoop Frozen icecream (Vanilla to be safe)

- 20cl Coke or any fizzy drink.

- Crushed chocolate of your choice.

- Straw

Preparation

1. Scoop 2 spoons of ice-cream into your serving glass.

2. Gently pour your fizzy drink(coke) into the glass. The ice-cream should float to the top (hence the name, float).

3. Sprinkle chocolate of your choice over the glass.

4. Insert straw and serve immediately.

Tip: Sprinkle crushed cookies or drizzle some caramel syrup. Mix two flavours of icecream or soda.
