The French designer who is famous for the name change/drop of the brand (from Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent) s well as creating rock and roll designs for the brand - he also took over the campaign the entire time he spent there.

He released his final couture line collection (Palladium collection ) for Saint Laurent during the Paris Fashion Week. The designer was applauded for infusing daring/bold ideas into pushing the brand.

Slimane’s successor is revealed as Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello (via WWD). The new successor who works as creative director for the Versus Versace brand also has an eponymous brand known for its sexy, body conscious silhouettes.
