Pulse Presents : Wedding style.

Hey there people!

Its Friday and that means one thing, its wedding Saturday for owambe lovers!!!

Nigerian weddings have become an event to look forward to, not just to celebrate with the bride and groom but also to reunite with friends, meet new people ,to eat and be merry and of course to look your absolute best.

Here are some wedding style tips.

• Never, ever wear white to a wedding. Leave it to the bride, it’s her day not yours.

• Denim, polo shirts and chinos have absolutely no place at a wedding, it’s a formal event not a walk in the park.

• Wear a short dress if you must but not too short, it’s not a night out at the club.

• Dressed head to toe in black is also unacceptable; it’s a happy event not a funeral.

Fascinators and pearls look great at weddings if you’re wearing English formal, channel your inner Kate Middleton.

• Wear shoes you can walk and dance comfortably well in.

• Whip out your iro and buba : this traditional Yoruba attire has been modernized in various ways and is the one outfit you can never go wrong wearing to a wedding.

• Weddings are the place to wear your beautiful ankara garments to, you don’t have to wear chiffon dresses anymore.

So on Saturday morning dress up, put your make up on, tie your gele , step into your stilettos, grab your clutch and go turn heads at the wedding!!!
