Mademoiselle Aglaia  unveils a ready-to-wear lookbook titled The 'FRIDA Collection'.

Featuring an array of creatively constructed pieces, the upcoming Nigeria based brand sets the tone for the shoot against Frida Kahlo, an iconic female  artiste who inspired the collection.

Kahlo was regarded as one of Mexico's greatest icon who was known for her unique fashion style as was displayed in her self-portraits.

The collection featured vibrant sequin jumpers, floral dresses with classic details styled with floral headbands, floor length figure hugging dresses and more impressive styled.

The beautiful backdrop for the shoot was carefully constructed with detailed vintage floral arrangement that made the pieces pop.

“This collection evolved from not just gaining inspiration from but also the Italian culture, their dancers and the famous matadors. The headpieces and flower print fabrics used represent ’s look and fashion style. The consistent use of red is also a way of emphasising the inspiration from a rose and the colour used mostly by the Italian flamenco dancers” Mariam Afolabi the creative director of the brand revealed .
