Anna had been slammed heavily for her comments which she had made on the Seth Meyers' chat show, "Late Night with Seth Meyers", while describing her experience at the show held at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking on the show, Wintour revealed to Seth Meyers, saying:
“They put me in this huge VIP section and I was the only person sitting there for about half an hour.
“Eventually the Life Of Pablo concert started, and the 'migrant chic' fashion show started, and [it] was wonderful, but after about 45 minutes I did notice that Jay Z had slid away, so I thought I could sneak out after him without anyone noticing.
“But I slid into the basement of Madison Square Garden and I was lost there for half an hour asking various people to let me out. I was really in tears."
Wintour's description of the collection had sparked outrage on Twitter, forcing her to apologise for her choice of words in the describing the collection.
Speaking with The Guardian, Wintour says:
“I apologise if my remark was offensive in any way. The migrant crisis is real, and I didn’t intend to trivialise that issue.”
Of course, Wintour is far from the first person to describe Kanye's collection in an unfavourable manner, especially in reference to its looks which has once been described as "Hunger Games looking s–t."
