Victoria Grace, AAugust, Sherene Melinda, others to showcase in London

The Africa Fashion Week London 2016 (AFWL ) is set to hold at the London Olympia West Hall on 9th and 10th September 2016.

The AFWL 2016 marks the 6th season of the fashion week which debuted in 2011 which returns bigger, better and more stylish this year after two seasons at London Olympia, the fashion week returns to the West Hall showcasing authentic style from African-inspired designers.

Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) and Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) have both gained a reputation as a unique platform that celebrates the best of Africa, showcasing her creativity and colours to the world.

The 2016 AFWN held in Lagos recently with over seventy (70) designers showing their latest collection at the Eko Hotel & Suites.

AFWL veterans and new designers will showcase their latest collections at the event. Mary Martin London known for her ‘Cecil the Lion dress’ stole the show last year. South African Sherene Melinda will also be showcasing her accessories line. Victoria Grace returns as well, last year the designer showed off classic designs from the ‘70s.

Emerging designers AAugust has also been confirmed for this year's showcase. This year's Africa Fashion Week London will hold at Olympia West Hall on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September 2016.

The organizers revealed Yemi Alade as the face of the AFWN and AFWL months ago in Lagos.
