Mai Atafo, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Lanre Olusola, Banke Meshida-Lawal, others attend event

The Wedding Industry Conference & Exhibition (TWICE) 2015 saw the largest gathering of wedding vendors, stakeholders, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts the country has ever witnessed.

The Wedding Industry Conference & Exhibition (TWICE) 2015 promised a platform for networking, mentoring and discussions among practitioners in the Nigerian wedding industry and it delivered all that and more! To the delight of many, TWICE was not only the largest gathering of wedding vendors, stakeholders, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts the country has ever witnessed, but has become the highlight event of the year for Nigeria’s Wedding Industry as it is set to be a yearly event.

Over 1000 wedding vendors and aspiring entrepreneurs from over 15 states attended the event which took place on Wednesday 4 February 2015 at The Haven Event Center, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

It featured presentations from several seasoned practitioners in the industry who shared from their wealth of experience to the delight of the audience. The speakers included Banke Meshida-Lawal of BM Pro, Ayiri Oladunmoye of Oaken Events,  Funke Bucknor-Obruthe of Zapphaire Events, Mai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired, Kelechi Amadi-Obi of Kelechi Amadi-Obi Studios and Tara Fela-Durotoye of House of Tara.

The highlight of the event was the address by Life Coach and Motivational Speaker Lanre Olusola who inspired the audience to greater success in their career and personal lives. Tunji Babajide, another Life Coach also inspired the audience with inspiring tips for their businesses.

Aside from the addresses and presentations by the speakers, there were several panel sessions where more seasoned practitioners in the industry joined the main speakers and shared their experiences as well as answer questions from delegates. It was a very interactive and engaging session.

The event was sponsored by WED Expo – Nigeria’s Largest Wedding Exhibition and hosted by Akin Eso, CEO of WED Expo.
