TEDxKids@Gbagada is an annual conference that brings together Nigeria’s brightest and youngest entrepreneurs, thinkers, innovators and reformers to share ideas worth spreading that will transform the current state of affairs. This is the first ever TEDxKids event in Lagos and it is centered on kids between the ages of 8 –18 years old.

This year’s edition is themed "InterConnected" and the objective is to get Kids to see themselves as part of a global community and to challenge the assumption that at such a young age, making an impact in one's community is impossible.

According to Yemi Akamo; “the purpose of this conference was birthed in a bid to inspire, educate and motivate the young generation in Nigeria and Africa.”

The aim of TEDxKids@Gbagada's conference is to help young people to be able to open up their minds to creating things that will impact the global community irrespective of their age, race, colour, background, and geographical location.
