Lala Akindoju to headline September edition

The multiple award winning actress will be celebrated at the event alongside other top female celebrities.

Actress, Lala Akindoju will be headlining the next edition of She Rocks! at Hard Rock Cafe Lagos.

Lala Akindoju, a native of Ondo state was born on 8 March 1987. She had her secondary education at Queens College, Lagos and studied Insurance at University of Lagos. She also received a master's degree from Pan African University, studying media and communication.

She started her acting career in 2005 and won major awards such as Future Awards Actor of the Year 2010, Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2016 Trailblazer award and Most Promising Actor for the 11th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Other celebrities expected at the event include Simi, A'rese, Faith, Chilli, DJ Nana, DJ Lambo, Imanse, Pryse, Clay, Monica, Nekky, G-Factor Band, and many more.

Each month, the selected ‘woman crush’ and ‘Honoree’ for the evening delivers an inspiring piece to empower and inspire other women guests at the event. There will be live music performances, comedy and a host of other engaging activity to relax and keep guests entertained through the evening.

This monthly event is put together to celebrate and recognize girl power.
