Olu Jacobs, Joke Sylva, Kunle Afolayan attend movie premiere
The premiere of Kunle Afolayan's psychological thriller "Roti." debuted as part of the Lagos at 50 celebration.
A collaboration between African Magic films and Golden Effects Pictures, the psychological thriller premiered on Friday, May 5, 2017, at IMAX Cinema, Lekki.
The premiere was attended by Lagos state commissioner for information, Steve Ayorinde, Joke Silva, Olu Jacobs, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Faithia Balogun, Kunle Afolayan, Ayo Adesanya, Tunde Kelani among others.
The movie, "Roti" features Kate Henshaw, Kunle Afolayan, Toyin Oshinaike, Fathia Balogun and Darimisire Afolayan. It tells the story of how, years after a couple loses their son called Roti to a brief illness, the wife sees a boy called Juwon who is a look-alike of her dead son.

After discovering that Juwon is not a reincarnation of Roti, she is washed anew by grief and soon descends into depression and consequent hysteria.
