The event convened by fashion entrepreneur & founder of Africa’s premium fashion brand, OUCH, Uche Nnaji featured business sessions and gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and also create new business links.
The series which is in its second edition featured fashion big wigs like Mrs. Adenike Ogunlesi, Chief responsibility officer at Ruff ‘n’ Tumble; Ituen Basi, owner of the Ituen Basi Label and David Wej, brand strategist Charles O’Tudor. They shared great insights on the business end and branding of fashion in Nigeria.
Facilitators at the business series with over 100 combined years of experience covered various areas of the fashion business from structure to branding, how to maximize sale and moving from bespoke to ready to wear.
The participants representing over 120 fashion business and startups also had a special question and answer session with fashion designer, Mai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired.
The fashion business series also had respected fashion designer Lanre Da Silva in attendance.
