Olaseni Odukoya is a 23-year old indigene of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state but born in Ibadan, Oyo State. He had his primary education at Green Springs Nursery & Primary School and also Little Saints Montessori primary school, Ilupeju, Lagos. He had his secondary education at Christ Redeemer’s College, Sagamu, Ogun state after which he went to Redeemer’s University, now in Ede, Osun state for his tertiary education where he studied Economics and graduated in 2013. After graduating from the university, he worked as a Finance Officer in New Prudential Mortgage Bank during NYSC & shortly after he worked at Dealdey Limited as a Customer Service Representative.

Shortly after NYSC, He teamed up with fellow corpers Chiebuka Nworah and Echefu Godric to launch etyresnigeria.com - the first online platform in Nigeria exclusively selling tyres. The company’s website was built by co-founder Godric Echefu. Odukoya says he had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, especially since his father is also an entrepreneur.

The company gives customers the option to choose their tyres online at midnight, in their pajamas, in the comfort of their own homes. They can also research and pick tyres on price, size, brand & quality. The company also stocks various brands of tyres from low budget tyres which are mainly China tyres such as (Boto, Double King, Linglong & Kenda), mid-range tyres such as (Deestone, Achilles, Maxxis, Radar & JK tyres) to premium tyres such as (Bridgestone, Dunlop, Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli & Continental).

As regards the future, the company hopes to completely eradicate the sale of ‘tokunbo’ tyres in addition to becoming the number one choice for motorists as far as tyres are concerned. The company is also in the process of rolling out a network of authorized fitment centers across Lagos, where customers who have purchased tyres online can have the tyres fitted. For the long term, the company is looking to stop importing this tyres and start producing its own tyres. Also, it intends to have buses all over, making fast deliveries, and also being available for people who have breakdowns on the 3rd mainland bridge and other potentially dangerous places.
