Sowa takes an important step towards the realization of his dreams, with the release of this mixtape which speaks volume of his calibre.

Emerging artist Sowa stays true to his identity, talent and burning desire to triumph on his journey “Road to Balmain” (Road to Riches).

The rapper lays claim to taking over the music scene starting from the Federal Capital Territory Abuja Nigeria, and springing some surprises along with this “Capital movement”.

Sowa enlists super wavy producer Smartbeatz for the tape, as he goes in with witty wordplay, flow and convincing delivery.

With lines like “Trying to stay on the lane but I’m too fly, you don’t even know,” on the track ‘Don’t even know’, Sowa has got it coming for real.

‘Balmain,’ a Trap infused song sees Sowa wishing on a star for the finer things of life, as ‘Play these games’ is rich with clever wordplay sitting on a fly Hip Hop beat.

On collaborations, Sowa gets it right with the cats Anatejur, Efe Oraka, Psycho YP, CallHimChris complementing his efforts on the project.

Sowa keeps in touch with his romantic side in ‘Stay’ that features the female EfeOraka who plays Sowa’s love interest while also blessing the song with her vocals.

The track ‘Shots fired’ featuring Psycho YP and CallHimChris is major HipHop track that calls out cyber bullies who pick on people just because they have the privilege of the internet.

The curtain closes with ‘Bless me’, Sowa bowing out in appreciation for being able to put to use his gift of music.

“Road to Bahrain” is a decent effort by Sowa, who is out to make more than a statement of his musical prowess, rolling out this project as sort of an appetizer for what’s to come.
