Singer holds album launch for new album "Simisola"

This is the sophomore album of the Afro-pop singer and her debut album since joining her record label X3M Music 3 years ago

Simi has held a release concert to mark the launch of her album “Simisola.”

It was a night of ecstasy, soulful music and fun for Simi at the launch which took place at The Lekki Coliseum.

In attendance were Falz, Bez, Dare Art Alade, VJ Adams, Ade Bantu, Bolanle Olukanni, Adebola Williams, Toke Makinwa Valentine Ohu, John Ugbe (MD, Multichoice Nigeria), Bizzle amongst others; the host for the night was IllRhymz.

This is the sophomore album of the Afro-pop singer and her debut album since joining her record label X3M Music 3 years ago. Before now she has released a plethora of singles such as ‘Tiff’, and ‘Jamb Question’, of which were well received and enjoyed massive of airplay.

“Simisola” includes 12 heart-serenading tracks such as Remind Me, Angelina, Aimasiko, Gone For Good, One Kian, Take Me Back which was the only song that had Adekunle Gold featured, ‘Complete Me’ which was inspired by a true-life event, with three bonus tracks (Tiff, Jamb Question, Love Don’t Care).

The album ranked No.1 on iTunes within six minutes, Simi gave a heart-felt gratitude to all of those who graced the album launch party with their presence and didn’t fail to appreciate her long-time producer Oscar and the CEO X3M Group, Steve Babaeko.

Production credits go to Oscar, Sess, Seyikeyz and Vtek. All songs were mixed by Simi herself. Vtek mastered all the tracks on the album.
