When it comes to rap, the subject matter can be anything of course although the most popular topics include the street life, cars, champagne popping, women, who your guys are, being the King of the game and other material things.

However it is possible to observe that Chocolate City rapper is possibly addressing some of the rumours in his publicized relationship. On the song he reconfirms his love for his girlfriend.

‘No mind dem’ produced by Mr Kamera is a joyful tune that celebrates the feeling of being in love and accepting all the challenges that come with it.

The trumpets are very effective on the track. The guitar creates an angular sound that strings you along. The drumbeats are rhythmic and dominate the song infused with soul and funk.

Ice Prince has some cheesy lines though:

“If you give me all your sugar, I will put you in my tea”, he sings.

“If you take me to your father I will buy you Prada”.

Listening to this new tune, I realize Ice Prince has always been a romantic at heart and he’s not afraid to translate this into his music. Remember when he sang ‘That could be us’? On that song he straight up points out the sort of relationship goals he’s aiming for:

“I know Dr Sid and Simi

2face and Annie

Tee Billz and Tiwa

See mama that could be us.”

When the ‘Aboki’ crooner was featured on DJ Caise’s ‘Crush’, he dropped some interesting chat up lines. And then on ‘Feelings’ he even starred his woman in the music video.

Who would have thought Ice Prince would be such a lover boy?
