Peter Okoye denies collaboration with Shantell

Peter Okoye, a half of the famous Psquare has denied releasing a song with the rising female singer.

Psquare has denied releasing a single, with rising singer, Shantell.

Recently, a song titled, ‘Nkemu’ has been circulated to the media as a newly released material from Shantell by her handlers. The song bore her name on the credit, and also had the name of popular music duo, Psquare.

Pulse had released the song, with relevant credits given. But the Okoye twins have revealed that they have no knowledge of the song. Peter Okoye, a half of the famous Psquare has expressed shock via his verified Twitter handle about the said collaboration.

He when mentioned on twitter with a URL of the newly released song, the singer replied: ‘serzly which Psquare?.

To another link, he also gave the smart rejoinder, “not us”.

However, listening to the song produced by Glorious Beatz, the male voice on the song indeed sounds like what would come from one of the Okoye twins.

Psquare are in  preparation for the mega concert, ‘Dance Afrique London’, which is scheduled to hold in London.

Efforts to reach Shantell and her management has so far proved abortive. Pulse will give updates as the story unfolds.
