has announced the nominees for the 2015 “” and it will be hosted by Miley Cyrus.

The '' which was announced on the Beats 1 “Chart” show on Apple Music, will air live across Africa on (DStv channel 130) from the Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE) in Los Angeles, on Monday August 31, 2015 at 02:00 AM (official pre-show starts at 1:00AM).

Beginning today, fans can vote for their favourites in multiple  categories including “Video of The Year”, “Best Male Video”, “Best Female Video” and more.

Nominees for the socially voted category, “Best Song of Summer”, will be announced at a later date.
