Nigerian music superstars Wizkid and Davido were both triumphant at the 2018 Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBO). Both musicians and arch rivals scooped awards.

The 2017 MOBOs are in, and rapper Stormzy was the biggest winner of the night.

The UK rapper bagged three prizes: Best Male Artist, Best Grime Act, and Best Album, for the chart-topping "Gang Signs & Prayer."

Nigerian music superstars Wizkid and Davido were both triumphant at award ceremony. Both musicians and arch rivals scooped awards.

 

Davido beat competition from Maleek Berry, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Juls, Tekno and more, to win the award for ‘Best African Act’.

Wizkid, took home the award of ‘Best International Act’ ahead of JAY-Z, Solange Knowles, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled and others.

J Hus’s hit record 'Did You See' won Best Song, while Mist took home best video for Hot Property, a big-budget affair in which the Birmingham MC swigs premium vodka on an Icelandic lava field.
