Rapper says collabo album with J. Cole is still going to happen

Kendrick Lamar, during an interview at Hot 97 raised hopes for the anticipated album when he said that him and J. Cole still have plans to do the album.

 

For three years, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole have teased fans on their intention to do a joint album. While both rappers' have ballooned over the last few years, the joint LP is still a priority for both them.

Kendrick Lamar, during an interview at Hot 97 raised hopes for the anticipated album when he said that him and J. Cole still have plans to do the album.

"Yeah, definitely. I still would love to do it," I talked to the bro, about a little bit over a month and he's on the tour rocking. So we're gonna try and make something happen. They want that" he said.

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are close friends. Kendrick Lamar featured on J. Cole's 2013 song 'Forbidden Fruit'. Doubling as a producer, J. Cole produced one of Kendrick Lamar's breakout songs 'Hii Power'.
