Jay Z is working extra hard to promote his new music streaming service.

The rapper is planning a free concert in New York, where he intends to bring back songs he hasn’t in a decade, and some other unheard tracks at the gig. Fans can be a part of the show and win free tickets by submitting a playlist on Tidal.

The concert will be held May 13, 2015.

Jay Z’s Tidal opened to a slow start on app stores, and the mogul has been vocal on Twitter, in  defence of the service he co-owns with Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna and other artists.

"The iTunes Store wasn't built in a day," he wrote. "It took Spotify 9 years to be successful. We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow and get better."

The concert will be streamed on Tidal.com.
