Chicago rapper Vic Mensa has inked a deal with Roc Nation Records.

The rapper joins Roc Nation in a deal which was made official yesterday. An announcement was also released, which premiered on TIDAL. The footage shows the 21-year-old Savemoney co-founder meeting with Jay Z and signing his deal.

Mensa joins a prestigious list of artists on Roc Nation including Jay Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna.

“It feels astounding just to be in a family tree like that, from Jay Z to Kanye West to J. Cole,” said Vic. “I look up to all of them dudes. It gives me chills almost. Everything that I’ve done for so long is what’s [brought] me to this point. And this is only the beginning.”
