Photo with sexy Bonang was for a new video

News had earlier been in circulation that D'banj had gotten deep affiliation with South Africa's favorite media personality, Bonang Matheba. This news went viral when the star entertainer posted photos from a video shoot, with multiple reports calling them an ‘item’.

Many were of the opinion that this was another publicity stunt by the DB Records Boss, who has also had a similar ‘relationship’ with Genevieve Nnaji in the past. However, all this ‘second guesses’ were mere assumptions because there was no evidence until now.

A member of D’banj’s crew has denied the authenticity of his boss’ new relationship and has labelled it a ‘publicity stunt’.

In the words of the anonymous member of DB Records camp: “it is a publicity stunt. They are having a good laugh over all the media reports. He is shooting a video in South Africa and Bonang is being featured in it.“The video is shot and directed by Mazi C.I. Jizzle in South Africa and is meant to throw up a new perspective and get attention for the boss, he is not in any relationship so to speak for now, that is all i can say.”

on her part, Bonang Matheba has also squashed the reports, denying clearly the stories. The media personality was speaking on TV show Vuzu last night, she revealed that her relationship with D’Banj was strictly platonic.

“Banj and I are good friends. I mean we’ve known each other for about 4 years now. So unless you hear it from me or him there’s nothing there, nothing to celebrate,” she said.

The 27-year old ‘Top Billing’ presenter has been such linked to a list of recording artistes such as South Africa’s Skwatta Kamp rapper Siyabonga ‘Slikour’ Metane, Themba ‘DJ Euphonik’ Nkosi, who she filed physical assault charges against.
