Singer to release new album on Easter Sunday, to go on tour

His tour will comprise of four states, and will mainly take place in universities.

Singer Beautiful Nubia is scheduled to drop his latest album on Easter Sunday, April 6, 2015.

Titled 'Soundbender', the album launch will take place at EniObanke Arts Centre, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

The album which is his eleventh, contains 15 tracks which will be available online. To promote the album, Beautiful Nubia will go on tour with his band Roots Renaissance. The music tour will comprise of four states, Kwara, Lagos, Osun and Oyo.

Beautiful Nubia is scheduled to perform at at the Creative Arts Department, University of Lagos on Thursday, April 2. His next stop is at Arts Theatre, University of Ibadan on Wednesday, April 8. The next day he heads to the Pit Theatre, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

The last stop on the tour is at Ilorin, Kwara state. He will be performing at Alliance Francaise. The performances in the universities start by 5pm and are free to students.

Beautiful Nubia's most memorable hit is 'Owuro L’Ojo (How D’You Do?)' released in 2002. The song was off his third album .
