Governor says he listens to The Mavins, Olamide

The popular governor reveals he listens to a wide range of music from from highlife, rap to pop.

Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola has revealed that he is a lover of music, and listens to different genres of music ranging from highlife, rap to pop.

In a Twitter interview with Red Card Movement, the governor was asked what artistes could be found in his music library and he mentioned The Mavins, Olamide, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and King Sunny Ade.

"All sorts Sunny Ade, Fela, Olamide, Tiwa, Mavins, luv music" he tweeted from his official Twitter account.

CEO of Mavin Records Don Jazzy saw the tweet from the Governor of Lagos state and retweeted. "Osheeee My Gov of Destiny" added Don Jazzy.

Babatunde Raji Fashola has indeed shown that he is up to date with the trends in pop culture. He has been seen dancing the popular street dance 'Shoki' at APC rallies.
